Join CASA of Baltimore County Program Director Dan McEachran as he provides this vital training to any volunteer working with older youth, age 14 and up!
Fostering Futures is an interactive training created by National CASA which is designed to help volunteers working with older youth (ages 14-21) to better prepare for their youth to be independent when they age out at 21.
The training involves discussing the importance of helping youth to be prepared to age out, provides resources to use in working with aging out youth, an opportunity to role play working with youth and, maybe most importantly, an opportunity to talk with other CASAs about the challenges of working with youth who are facing aging out.
