CASA of Baltimore County is hosting an information session for community members who are interested in learning more about becoming a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for a child in foster care. The information session will explain the CASA program, the role of the CASA volunteer, and the importance of becoming a CASA volunteer to advocate for an abused or neglected child.

CASA of Baltimore County is seeking members of the community who are age 21 or older to serve as advocates for foster youth in Baltimore County. No special experience is needed to become a CASA volunteer. After applying, the prospective volunteer will undergo screening and extensive training before being appointed by the court to a child’s case.
